In politics there are many different viewpoints and reasons people run to the polls and vote. Politics plays such an important role in all of the citizens lives whether they believe it or not. The attitude that people have towards the person they are voting for can be classified according to the party they fall under: Republican, Democrats, or the Uninterested.

For starters, a Republicans attitude towards voting is more about being conservative. The Republican Party normally will lean more towards big business than anything else. They tend to love supporting the businessman who makes the big bucks than the smaller businessman making barely enough to get by. Next, they will vote for the republican who is raising the taxes of the American. Also, they will vote for the person who doesn’t have a liberal mindset; such as the lower class people. Being that these things are what a republican is looking for, it would normally have an effect on the attitude of a voter.

On the other hand, a Democrat's attitude towards voting is greatly towards the liberal side. While a Republican is pulling for the big businesses, the Democrats are going for the smaller businesses. They will give their support to the smaller businessman, so that he or she may become a big business. In addition, they believe in lowering the taxes for the poor and raising taxes for the rich. In that alone, it could have a big impact on the attitude of voting democrat over republican. Lastly, they believe that the more conservative you are the worst off. For instance, Republicans through a Democrat’s eyes don’t care about the lower class, but focus more on the upper class people. They believe more in change than thing remaining the same year after year. This is mainly cause for the attitude of the people voting for a democrat.

Moreover, the disinterested party has the attitude of just not caring about politics. Their attitudes portray the image of the non-voter. Some people will not go out there way to vote because they find it pointless. Also, they believe that the world will never change no matter who’s in charge. They feel that life goes on without their votes at the polls. More importantly, they have the attitude of politic being too much to follow. Politics goes deep into subject an uninterested person just don’t care about enough to pay it any attention. These reasons are why the attitude of the voter is just uninterested for the most part.

In conclusion, many people have their own reasons why they should and should not vote. Even though all the citizens of the United States may not be voters, the all play an important part in the attitudes toward politics. People can be a conservative, liberal, or neither of the two and still count for so much of the way the world is ran. Whether people believe it or not they fall into either of the three categories mentioned above: Republicans, Democrats, or the Disinterested.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
