The End of Vine

Gone But Not Forgotten

21
The End of Vine

This week we lost one of the greats: Vine. The Twitter spinoff platform was put to bed once and for all after almost four years of content creation. Six seconds was all you needed to become a Vine superstar, but I fear we may never see these videos again.

Although there are countless Youtube video compilations, it's just not the same.

Here are the top ten Vines that made me laugh. I would find more but I'm selfish and this is mostly for me.

1. Will Sasso Lemons

Will Sasso, former Mad TV star, took to Vine like a dehydrated man to water. His lemons Vines were among the first that I watched and still make me laugh, especially the Taylor Swift one.

2. Ryan Gosling Won't Eat His Cereal

Still one of my favorite videos to watch. There is something so funny about a grown man not wanting cereal.

3. RKO Vines

What's funnier than watching people just eat asphalt off a skateboard? Having some great wrestling commentary behind it.

4. Look at this Graph

Not sure if this is a vine, but it's still hilarious.

5. Dory Vines

There are a lot of these, but this one is my fave.

6. Universal Studios Vines

This is also one of my faves. Timing is everything, people.

7. Spiderman AssSlap

My new favorite as I just watched all of them.

8. Peanut Butter Baby

Gross. So much peanut butter. Watch your kids more.

9. Watermelon Vines

I don't know why these are funny, but they are.

10. And here are a lot of vines in one video.

You're welcome.

Well, Vine was good while it lasted. RIP 2013-2016.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
