ViewSonic’s Latest Monitor is Advanced, Affordable, and Aesthetically-Pleasing

The VX3218 is the latest high-resolution monitor by ViewSonic. Measuring thirty-two inches with an ultra-wide panoramic screen and 1920 x 1080 picture quality, this thin, lightweight monitor features immersive graphics that will visually transport you into the content on screen. Equipped with VESA Adaptive-Sync, VX3218 monitor instantly synchronizes the frame rate output for flawless, uninterrupted gameplay. The sleek but stylish black design makes the VX3218 the perfect companion for any desk or office. The included View mode presets provide the perfect screen performance depending on whether you are using the monitor for gaming, movies, editing, and anything in between.

I love that you can easily use this monitor right out of the box. Just take out the screen, slide it into the included study stand and plugin. If you would prefer to mount the monitor to a wall, four pre-drilled holes are at the back for simple setup. Two HDMI ports are located at the bottom of the monitor, as well as inputs to connect speakers and other audio accessories to the monitor. Switching back and forth between inputs is seamless. The dual-integrated speakers provide the perfect blend of stereo sound.

I tested out the quality of this monitor and was blown away. The full HD LED display provides the perfect blend of vivid imagery that captivates the eye. The 165hz refresh rate reacts instantaneously with glamorous graphics that make you feel part of the action during gaming. The colors projected on screen are vibrant and visually appealing with stunning details. Watching movies, surfing the web, and playing games on this monitor is an experience unlike no other.

With great graphics, stunning sound, and high definition display, the Viewsonic VX3218 offers something for everyone. It's a fantastic option for someone who would like a curved monitor at a reasonable price. 9.8/10

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that.
