What makes younger siblings so fantastic? What do younger siblings see through their own eyes?

Being the younger sibling has many perks. You won't make the same mistakes because you have already learned the consequences from your older sibling. You won't have the mileage in your mom's car checked every time you drive it because you know how to avoid it. Most importantly, it is reported that the younger sibling is funnier.

Let's delve into the world of younger siblings... Shall we?

1. Younger siblings seem to get off the hook.

We just always seem to not get in trouble with certain things that our older siblings always did.

2. We know how to manipulate and bribe.

That CD or movie we want? Well, we have it now considering we know how to worm our way into getting it and it feels like we've won the lottery.

3. We're considered as the baby of the family no matter how old we are.

And we secretly love it.

4. "Ow! He/She hit me!"

This never failed when we were younger. The older sibling would always get scolded in one way or another and our reaction would be hilarious behind the backs of our parents.

5. That reaction from our older sibling when we wouldn't leave them alone was priceless.

And in my case it still is considering I know how to push her buttons with my sarcasm.

6. We stick up for each other.

No matter what, no one messes with their little brat but them and vice versa.

7. "Will you buy this for me? I'll pay you back later."

We never do.

8. You always manage to one up them.

Oh. You've seen that band one time? I've seen them three times.

9. The family pet isn't their pet.

It's yours and yours only because there is no way they could show more love to them than you can.

10. That last sweet they were saving?

It's in your belly now just to spite them.

11. We go to sleep knowing we'll do the same things to them tomorrow.

And it will never fail to make them angry.

No matter what happens siblings will always have one another and we'll never be able to replace them. We will also never forget that the younger siblings will always be the better sibling.

...am I right?

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
