I was going through my day trying to figure out what I was going to write about. Then I went to my grandparents house to spend time with them before they have to leave for Australia to harvest their mango farm. It then came to me that I was going to tell my grandparents story. They are my mother's parents and they have been married for 45 years. Their story is one to tell and to show that love can happen to anyone at anytime.

To start off, when my grandpa was 22 years-old he traveled back and forth between Vietnam and the U.S in 1968. He worked on aircraft's and supply systems but he was not in the military. The first round he signed a 6 month contract with a company known as LSI and the time flew by. He came back to the states once the contract ended spent time with his parents and met a farm girl. The girl and him talked marriage but she didn't want him to go back to Vietnam so the relationship didn't work. He went back and was at a different base called Ku Chi in 1969. Then, he was transferred to a base called Phuloi. There, he met the beautiful woman who is my grandmother today. They met in a local bar where my grandma worked. When they met, my grandma was cold to my grandpa, then one day he had the courage to ask for her address to so he could go visit her and surprisingly, she gave it to him. He visited her for three months and the third month my grandma was invited to a party at a military base, he couldn't stand her being there without him which led to him crashing the party. She was the first person he saw when he walked in and in that moment, he knew he was in love. Later that night he asked her to marry him and she said yes. They got married according to her customs without him knowing but time passed and they did an american wedding, causing two anniversaries. They had three amazing kids, one being my mother.

Now many people say that was the typical thing to do during that time but for only knowing each other three months they have out lasted most marriages today. Ronald and Gai Goad are happily married to this day and they are living their happily ever after. I love my grandparents with my heart and will strive for a love like theirs. To be in a happy marriage, is one of the best experiences a person would ever experience.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
