College is often thought of as a new chapter where you’re suddenly supposed to have it all. Good grades are expected and needed for graduate school. A social life is wanted to keep sanity. Your future profession is supposed to be right in sight. All the while, this crazy thing we know as "life" sometimes comes into play.

Though college is often viewed as some of the most wonderful times one will experience, it is too trying. Despite the many support systems we surround ourselves with, one can still have the overwhelming feeling of stress and loneliness. It is during these times we turn to God.

Throughout the Bible, we are given opportunities for challenge and to grow as a child of God. We are able to overcome whatever obstacle we may face just by the power of His word. These words are precious gifts that are able to lift us up on our darkest of days. It is our decision to allow those words to become more than just words on paper; allow them to become a foundation.

Though these verses may not solve every issue we may face, they are able to give us light at the end of the tunnel.

1. When you're unsure

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

2. When you feel weak

“I can do all things through God, who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13.

3. When you're tired

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28-30

4. When you feel overwhelmed

“From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” Psalm 61:2

5. When you're scared of the future

“Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.” Psalm 37:5

6. When you're stressed

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
