I bet you've probably heard the phrase, "7 days without prayer makes 1 weak." Once you get past how cheesy of a statement that is and really focus on what it means, you will realize it is so very true.

I bet if I were to ask you right now to try and go a whole week without eating, you would probably look at me as if I were crazy and refuse. I can't say that I would blame you. I mean, I love to eat as much as the next person. But let's say you took me up on the challenge. You went seven days without any food. Studies show that the human body can survive for three weeks without food. However, after seven days without food, the body enters starvation mode. This means since the body is not being fed anymore, the body starts breaking down its proteins from within in order to create fuel for all its systems. The body starts to become weak and starts to shut down.

For Christians, God's Word is meant to be food for our soul. We have to feed our soul in order for our faith to grow and strengthen. If we are not feeding our soul everyday by the reading of God's Word, our faith will become weak and we will become vulnerable to the temptation from the enemy.

Below are a list of my favorite Bible verses, just in case you need a jump start to begin your journey for reading a verse a day. Here are seven verses for seven days.

Day 1:

"And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast."

1 Peter 5:10 (NIV)

Day 2:

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."

2 Peter 3:9 (NIV)

Day 3:

"No temptation has overtaken you exceot what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV)

Day 4:

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 (NIV)

Day 5:

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us or sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 (NIV)

Day 6:

"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." Romans 8:18 (NIV)

Day 7:

"Submit yoursleves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7 (NIV)

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.
