Vanderpump Rules Recaps Your New Years

So, 2016 really came out of no where.

And who knows what the new year will bring?

And summarizing 2015 is a whole other story.

It was full of shocks and surprises

So let's catch up on the New Years Festivities we just capped up. . .

All of your friends and yourself got glammed up just to drink the year away. Were all of the sequins necessary? No, but it's fun to feel like a starlette.

You see it's only 9 p.m.. You begin to drink your cares away.

But isn't the night really about the people you spend it with?

But then Kristen blabs on for a half an hour about dropping out of school to focus on "herself."

So you sit there, pretend to care, and keep on with your "cool" and "good for you" lies, just to keep the peace.

Whatever.

As the clock approaches midnight, people begin to craft their resolutions for the new year.

Kristen aspires for that raise she's been yapping on about.

Or maybe try to a nicer person.

But you just look at her like she's crazy, no way in hell will she keep these resolutions

Your other friend decides she's going to re-evaluate some of her friendships in the new year.

You on the other hand, never make resolutions. What's the point?

Or maybe because you can never keep them.

The clock strikes 12, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

You immediately check Instagram, seeing all these new years kisses.

And twitter is no better, with all of these "new year, new me" tweets.

The rest of the night is kind of a blur, maybe you danced on some elevated surfaces. . . maybe you rapped all of the lyrics to "Blessings."

You wake up on your best friends' couch the next morning, confused and achy. Clearly, a wicked hangover is how you'll spend the first day of 2016.

And then you get the queasy feeling. . . no no no. . .

Your friends start texting you about last night, and all of your dancing.

But you just want to leave the events of 2015 in 2015.

With New Years celebrations behind you, you decide to prep for the coming semester.

But this time, you're serious!

The year has just begun, who knows what it'll bring?

So this year, dance like no one's watching. . .

And may the year bring you great happiness, fortune and experiences!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
