No time to wait for the shipping process on the perfect gift? No money to blow at the jewelry store? No problem! Here are 7 ideas to get you started on your search.

1. Pictures of you. Don't own an expensive camera? Ask a friend. Offer to take Valentines Day pictures of them in repay. Too shy to get too sexy in front of a friend? Throw it back to the Myspace days and use your webcam, better yet, try a selfie stick. Put together a Kardashian worthy selfie book or save your pics to a USB drive.

2. Tickets to a show. Due to the last minute searching there's a chance you won't be able to get tickets to see a show on V-day, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Give your significant other the tickets at dinner on the holiday and see the show a day or two after. You'll get to celebrate for two days instead of one. Those who live here in Vegas be sure to ask about local discounts and do some research about what show the two of you will enjoy and what won't break the budget.

3. Customized T-shirt. Check out a place like The T-Shirt Diner at The Galleria Mall, and have a quirky saying in mind. Use a catch phrase you find your valentine saying over and over again, a movie quote they love or even a fun picture.

4. Books. Is your significant other a big reader? Go to the local bookstore and pick out a Fitzgerald novel, a book of poems from the Romanticist poets, or a play from everyones favorite literary heartthrob, Shakespeare.

5. Cook or Bake. After all, the best way to someone's heart is through their stomach. Find out their favorite dish and look up a recipe for it online. If you're close with you significant other's parents you could even consider asking them for a recipe.

6. Coffee. The gift of caffeine is like none other to a college student, and nothing says "I love you" like a mug from a favorite cafe and a pound of everyone's favorite guilty pleasure beverage. Bonus idea: buy a plain mug and customize it with craft supplies.

7. Get Creative. Are you a writer? Craft a short story about him or a write a sonnet about her. Artist? Draw, sculpt or paint a work of art that's special to you. Musician? Burn a CD of you playing or singing your partner's favorite songs. Don't worry about it being perfect. It'll seem perfect because it came from the heart.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
