So Valentine’s Day is on the way. It is a time for celebration. It is also a time to have joy for the one you want to spend your life with. For me though, it is a time to look and to impress the woman I have been with for a while. But a lot of guys get things wrong about what women like. So, I decided to make a short list of things a woman likes.

The first thing that he needs to do is be confident. Women love a guy who is confident. Not that confident to the point where they become arrogant, but to where they know what they want and go after it. Not every woman wants to take control over everything, so show her that you have a plan.

The second thing is very simple. Just be romantic. Not too romantic because romance is a delicate art. Being romantic means giving her flowers, setting up a candlelit dinner, or even taking her out for a surprise picnic to the park. You can even watch a Netflix movie and cuddle up in bed with takeout. Just being yourself is sometimes the most romantic thing to do. It is not that hard to do. Just be sweet, kind, and nice to that very special person in your life.

The next one is being passionate about something. You know the drive that gets you up in the morning and motivates you to keep going. Sports, politics, painting, writing or even playing music, it does not matter. This shows you have a life of your own and are trying to become something and strive towards something. Share this passion with her and she will most likely become your biggest fan.

This final one consists of two parts. The first part is to have a sense of humor. Especially if you can turn that sense of humor into some cheesy flirting. This shows that you can be very sweet and kind. It also shows that you are not afraid to show emotion to her. You can be funny and put a smile on her face, but you can get serious when she needs you to be. This can be done just by sitting with her at the dinner table, living room, or anywhere else. The second part is the simplest thing you could ever do. It is simply to listen to her. Showing that you listen means the world to a lot of women. Showing that you pay attention is great, but most guys do not take the time to do that for her. If you’re the one doing most of the talking on a date, stop and ask her questions about her, her day, or something else related to. Then when she answers, truly listen, and give her advice if she asks for it. This shows that you are interested not only in her, but what is going on beneath the surface in her life.

So guys, there you go. Four ways to impress a woman on Valentine’s Day. Use these on a woman or if you want on another guy. It does not matter. This tips are for everyone to use but mostly guys, since we fall short sometimes getting a woman to like us. But anyways, have a great Valentine’s Day!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo
