Vaccination Re-Education

An honest look at our current environment.

A new topic that has recently come to my attention is the hot topic of VACCINES. There is a little bit of a story behind this topic and why it has recently become so important. I have recently come across a couple articles about the harm vaccines can cause. One being the harm that Gardasil can cause and the call from my doctor’s office to get the third and final shot for it. The other game-changing article was posted by one of my very good friends who I respect and love tremendously. She posted an anti-vaccine article to her wall out of disagreement, and the comments that unfolded disagreed with one another. It was clear that first, many people find the idea of not getting vaccinated highly opposable. The second thing that was made clear that there is now a large second majority that disagree with vaccines.

The best part about these thread of comments is that it stayed pretty civil! It seems that nowadays, when someone disagrees with you it means they’ll attack you until you submit to their own views. We have all been the victim and the perpetrator in these scenarios. But because both sides remained calm while explaining their position, real information was able to be shared instead of emotional responses that don’t get anywhere.

So instead of offending, or using different angles to guilt, push, or create fear in readers, let’s take an honest look at some basic facts of vaccines.

  1. 1.)Big Pharma WILL NOT be held accountable.
  2. 2.)It has been PROVEN that certain vaccines cause harm.
  3. 3.)Potentially dangerous ingredients.

Yep, it’s true. Even when events of vaccines causing injury to children and adults alike, none of the big pharmacy companies can ever be held fully responsible. Why? Well because in 1986, Congress passed a law that made it impossible to sue any big pharmaceutical companies of any adverse effects caused by vaccines. If we are to take an honest look at this, why should this have been allowed? Car manufacturers were forced to install seat belts for our safety, the FDA was created to protect the public from unsafe consumption of any products. Many things have been put in place to maintain safety for the public, but yet, Big Pharma now has a “get out of jail” free card.

I say certain vaccines, because while there have been many cases reported of issues arising after many of the vaccines, there still hasn’t been the needed research to confirm the accused vaccine was the issue. The CDC [Center for Disease Control and Prevention] has admitted that “no vaccine is actually 100% safe or effective for everyone because each person’s body reacts to vaccines differently” . So while vaccines don’t cause injury to EVERYONE, that does NOT mean they are SAFE for everyone. HRSA [Health Resources and Services Administration] has compensated many encephalopathy-related cases caused by vaccinations.

The CDC has published the ingredients of vaccines. There are many harmful ingredients in these vaccines. To name a few… aluminum, amino acids and proteins, formaldehyde, benzethonium Chloride, Glutaraldehyde, MRC-5, DNA, Cellular Protein, Human Serum Albumin, MSG, etc.… The list goes on.

There are many other facts out there that lead many to believe that the vaccines that we are putting into ourselves and into our children are harmful. This is a very in depth topic with many channels coming together to produce more accurate and truthful information. For more information on this topic, look into Facebook groups that might challenge your current stance on vaccinations. I would also suggest looking into the gene MTHFR, and its role in vaccines. Finally, when a doctor suggests a vaccine to you, ask for the insert. Vaccine inserts are full of information of possible side-effects and the ingredients. Before getting a vaccine, do the research yourself! Most importantly, never allow anyone to make assumptions for you or your

family. It is YOUR duty to make informed decisions.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
