It's summertime and I know that usually means going to the beach and having your fun in the sun. But what if you don't want to go to the beach?

I personally am not that much of a beach person. I hate sand, I hate fish, I am terrified of the ocean. It's not the best idea for me. So I have always loved vacations that don't involve the beach at all.

I usually have a hard time coming up with vacations that aren't the beach so I figured I would try it now and help out the people like me.


1. Road Trip!

Who doesn't love loading up their car and driving to their destination and taking in all of the pit stops and sights along the way?

2. Camping

Get yourself a couple of tents and some camping gear. Gather your crew and enjoy time in nature enjoying the world around you.

3. National Parks

Go see the beauty that our country has to offer us! I personally would LOVE to go to Yellow Stone!

4. Go abroad!

Have the money and would love to see new places? Go abroad and experience a new culture! Canada counts too!

5. Washington D.C.
