Traveling can be one of the most fun things to do with your time and the world is covered with beautiful places and adventure. Vacations are the best way to see some of these sites, so pick a place book a room and take an adventure.

1. New Orleans

If you decide to head to New Orleans don,t just go straight to Bourbon Street because there are so many beautiful places to see and so many things you can do. However, if you do find your self on Bourbon Street make sure to eat at Oceana Grill and grab a beignet on the way out.

2. Nashville

If you like country music or hockey take a trip to Nashville, TN and have some fun. Many women choose this for their bachelorette party and hit up a concert or two. Nashville has many sights to see and is perfect for a long weekend trip.

3. Nassau

Hop on a cruise and go to Nassau, Bahamas. Spend some time in Atlantis and then go swim with the pigs or rent scooters and ride around the island. Whatever you do you're sure to have a great time.

4. Italy

Go to Sardinia, Italy and see the Pink Beaches or go to Italy and take a ride on the canal. Eat some authentic Italian food and sit on a balcony and enjoy the evening sun.

5. Bora Bora

With beautiful clear water and private cabanas over it, this trip is perfect for a honeymoon or a girls trip. Spend your time on the beach and sightseeing.

6. Aurora Borealis

The Northern Lights are probably one the most beautiful sights to go see in the world and can be absolutely stunning. This is a must see and while you're at it take an Alaskan cruise from what I've heard they are super fun.

7. Paris

Don't just go to Paris for the Eiffel Tower because there are so many other things to see and do. You can go to Disneyland Paris, The Louvre, Notre-Dame, and so much more. Plan a vacation and enjoy time with whoever you go with.

8. Greece

Take a trip and go see the beauty of Greece and enjoy the history it has to offer. Head to Santorini for beautiful views and then head over to Athens and see some history of Greek mythology.

9. Puerto Rico

If you decide to go into this beautiful country take a walk around San Juan and head into the Fort. You can also head to the other side of the island and go on a hike through El Yunque. There is an observatory over there that you can go and check out as well.

10. Grand Turk Island

Honestly, this is probably the most beautiful place that I have personally been to. The water is so clear and beautiful. If you end up here on a cruise book a snorkeling excursion you will not regret it. After your excursion, enjoy your time in a beach chair or go have fun in the water. You can also head over to Margaritaville and rent a poolside cabana.

11. Disney World

Arguably the most magical place in the world so of course it had to make the list. If you get a fastpass for all the rides you can you can bypass most of the lines and it can make your time at Disney much better.

12. Denver

Denver is a gorgeous city with an amazing view of the Rockies and I'm not just talking about the baseball team. Denver is definitely a place that you should go plus they don't have humidity which is huge plus personally.

No matter what vacation you decide to take you can probably use this list to get a good idea and even visit one of these yourself. Enjoy your time and your company if you take any.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
