If you are starting a business or a blog and want to raise awareness, here are some tips. Instagram can be a great way to get your name out there, but it not always easy to get a significant amount of attention. So, follow these steps to ensure that your business reaches its full Instagram potential!

1. Use Hashtags

Whenever you post a photo, be sure to give it as many hashtags as you can that people would search. Also, certain hashtags like #FF(Follow Friday), #FollowBack, and #InstaFollow exist simply for the purpose of gaining followers.

2. Use Other Platforms

Use your other social media platforms to promote your Instagram account. Post your username on Facebook, that way all of your Facebook friends are made aware of your account and have the information they need to find you.

3. Follow Similar Accounts

If you see an account that posts similar content to your own, follow them and like their posts. Then, they might do the same for you.

4. Quality Is Important

Let’s be honest. No one wants to follow someone who posts pictures that are boring. Make sure your posts are interesting and are of something people would want to see. Also, never post a blurry photo. Just don’t do it.

5. Quantity Is Important

Do not post so much that people get annoyed and unfollow you. You want to gain and maintain your followers. Post often, but do not be repetitive and don’t overwhelm.

Don’t give up if your company’s Instagram page does not receive a lot of traffic right away. This will often take time. Just keep updating!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
