I live life with my mind wide open. Writing and teaching are two of my tools to share what I discover. I teach Computer Science at a Technology Center in Springfield, IL, during the traditional school year and at a Montessori Private Academy during the summers. My love of teaching has also appeared in courses as varied as math, history, science, and kindergarten science lessons. I'm not only teaching but also participates in discussions with colleges and universities in my local states to coordinate computer science education between high schools and higher education institutions.
After teaching for a few years I went back to school to formalize my experiences with a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on instructional technology. Through this experience, I discovered that I have a lot to share with other teachers concerning technology integration, lesson planning, classroom activities, and more.
