I am a 22-year-old published writer, blogger, and artist. I have Schizoaffective Bipolar type and co-occurring chronic pain diagnoses.

I’m an INFJ. I’ve got a few piercings and two tattoos (yes, one is an obligatory semicolon tat). I have two cats and a loving fiance. We both are residents of rural Maine.

I am nearly one year clean from self-harm and doing well on all my medications. It’s been a year since I was hospitalized for Schizophrenia. I’ve spent half my lifetime with mental illness. And have been told, like you, of the importance of durability and the delusion of what it means to be functioning member of society. As a disabled person, I can say that you shouldn't waste your time (life) trying to conform to a world designed for people who aren't. Doing so doesn't make sense when not doing so is the only thing you can do.
