Madison Harley Welch

I am a sophomore at Lamar University. My life is crazy yet at the same time extremely boring. I'm constantly studying -- my major is pretty competitive -- when I'm not studying, I'm either eating, napping, at the rec center, or doing something pertaining to Zeta. I am a small town girl thrown into big town where culture shock is at every corner; naturally my small town roots would instill in me a love for hunting, fishing, or anything you would hear in a country song (bonfires, backroading, etc.). Did I mention I'm from the greatest country in the world? Texas. I love the good Lord, my family/friends, and my adorable dog Gypsy. I want to write for the Odyssey because literally all I do is read other people's blogs and hope that someday I can relate to someone who is having a bad day, going through a breakup, or someone who needs a good laugh... My future goals involve me being that extremely classy, southern belle driving my 3 kids to some kind of sporting practice in my Range Rover, while wearing pearls and carrying a new Kate Spade.
