Lindsay Adams

As Loyola Marymount University’s Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing for the Greek Life executive board, my passion for public relations has increased. Upon researching the company, my interests piqued as I realized The Odyssey’s values and approach align perfectly with my personal passions and ambitions. This upcoming fall I will be a junior at Loyola Marymount University as a Communication Studies major and English minor. My aptitude and passion for advertising and marketing became clear through the DECA international marketing competition, in which I received 6th place my senior year of high school. Through DECA I learned how to tailor advertising campaigns to each specific target market, making every company and product unique. The Odyssey's approach to communicating "issues of importance” is a team in which I would love to be a part. Ever since I started reading The Odyssey I knew I would be a perfect fit for the publication. Additionally, with my leadership skills, creativity, self-motivation, and interpersonal attitude I feel yours is an environment I would thrive in. I have always balanced my extracurricular activities with work and school, which is shown through my cumulative 3.47 GPA. Through all of this I have learned time management, organizational, and communication skills that are necessary attributes for this position.
