I checked three positions above because I'm interested in trying any of them. I have experience writing, and it's what I hope to do post-grad. I'm passionate about the Greek system because of what it's done for me, but even more so about what it can do for others. I believe that bringing the Greek system together as a functioning community is one of the keys to a positive, thriving, healthy campus community. For the past two years, I've been able to try my hand at this as Chi Omega's Philanthropy Director. Our events have been tremendously successful thanks to support from other organizations. I think that a publications that allowed organizations to easily know the happenings of other organizations would change the game entirely for our campus. I'm a busy person - it's how I function. I've been compared to a shark or a fish, in that I always have to keep moving to stay alive, but it's quite true. It's when I'm happiest. When I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in November, all seemed hopeless - until I realized that I had the entire Greek system behind me as I got back on my feet and into my usual routine. I would be honored to give back to the same community that has built me so much as a person with the opportunity to inform them of happenings on campus and overall ways to stay healthy, happy and involved.
