Gia DeJesus

As someone who has always enjoyed writing- from poetry to articles- I dedicate my time to branching out into associations, such as The Odyssey, of like-minded individuals to share my writing. In high school, I participated in my school's Speech and Debate team with the ultimate goal of making my voice heard. While I no longer hold that platform, I am using other outlets to share my ideas.

I am currently studying Exercise Science and Nutrition and plan to graduate in Spring of 2022. I admire exploring the outdoors- from traveling across the states, kayaking down the coldest rivers to hiking. I am passionate about advocating for environmental protection & empowering others to use their voice. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and writing.
