Daniel Golant

I'm a third year Purdue Student, majoring in C&IT with a focus in Information Systems. I'm originally from Brooklyn via New Jersey, and I am natively bilingual; I speak Russian at home, except for the rare occasion where we want to include my stepdad in a conversation. I've always been an avid reader and writer, and I actually received a small scholarship for an essay I wrote about Julian Assange and peace in the 21st Century back in high school. I would like to join The Odyssey here at Purdue because, 3 years into a STEM degree, I am really starting to miss the opportunity to write for fun, and I think this is a great way to do it while also contributing something greater than myself.
