Opposites do attract.

If you're dating someone who you wouldn't really consider to be your twin, but more like your opposite, you just might relate to these few points. Opposites really do attract sometimes, and it's definitely a journey being in a relationship with your complete opposite.

1. You learn new things constantly

Dating someone who says, acts, eats, and pretty much does everything you don't really can have its perks. You're both constantly introducing each other to new things and learning so much about each other in the process.

2. You challenge each other

Since they're so different from you, it's often hard to understand how they're feeling or what they think which can be frustrating at times but ultimately it strengthens your relationship. If you really take the time to understand the person you're with, you'll both grow together and begin to understand how the other one functions.

3. You argue a lot, but you grow from each disagreement

There will be arguments--lots of arguments, big and small, but you'll get through them if you really do love each other. Every argument is an opportunity to grow, learn, and understand both you and your partner. Are you sensing a theme, here?

4. You're constantly introducing each other to new things

Since you're so different, each of you has your own set of interests, experiences, and hobbies, but once you come together you begin to share those with each other which helps expose you to new and exciting things. It is always better to share new things with your significant other rather than just assuming they want nothing to do with your interests--you never know if something you love could be something you two can share together.

5. They keep you on your toes

You never really know what the other is thinking or how they'll react to something (unless of course you know them well enough at this point) so they really keep you guessing. Between impromptu road trips, dates at new restaurants, or even just learning something you never knew about them, your partner always keeps you guessing.

6. Your families are different

You grew up differently, and that can be both a blessing and a curse. You won't quite understand how each others families are, how they react to certain things, or what they believe in, etc. but over time you'll learn more about them. It's scary at first, like you're walking on eggshells, but the experience is well worth it and you'll have some new wonderful family members.

Dating your opposite can be challenging at times...or, most of the time, but it's worth it. Opposite couples, in my eyes, are some of the most beautiful couples because the amount of growing and learning they do really helps them both to become better people. The next time you get in an argument with your partner, take a breather and just try to remember all of the positives that come out of your relationship, and how much you love your person despite how different you two may be. You grow, you learn, you love, and you experience so much while being in a relationship with your opposite -- it really is all worth it.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
