Whether you like to admit it or not, almost all of us are intrigued by the glamorous lives of today's hottest celebrities. Celebrity couples take that fascination to a whole new level, with two times the star power and usually two times the beauty to obsess over. We become obsessed with celebrity couples, giving them couple names and following every move they make, especially when they find a happily ever after and produce even more perfect celebrity babies. But as 2016 comes to a close, I can't help but notice that it has been a tragic year for us celebrity lovers. As someone who watches E! News and reads People magazine on a weekly basis, I have mourned the breakup of some of America's favorite couples, and would like to memorialize them in this article.

1. Cavin Harris and Taylor Swift

After a year spent as pop's reigning power couple, Swift and Harris broke up and seemingly deleted each other from their lives. These two had fans gushing over their subtly adorable Instagrams and tweets to each other, but hit a rough patch and broke up over the summer. But fans were even more shocked by Swift's quick rebound with Tom Hiddleston just weeks later, and then by the scandal over Harris' song that Swift apparently wrote. What's a celebrity breakup without some juicy drama?

2. Brooklyn Beckham and Chloe Grace Moretz

Although they're only teenagers, this young couple was the talk of Hollywood for a while during their whirlwind romance. The two gorgeous rising stars were all over each other's social media, but eventually split when Chloe claimed she was sick of being referred to as his girlfriend rather than the star actress that she truly is.

3. the Weeknd and Bella Hadid

These two spent an amazing year and a half as Hollywood's freshest, chillest couple, but have recently split due to their conflicting schedules. To me, this is the saddest type of breakup, as the two said they still "have a great deal of love for one another." Excuse me while I cry for the Weeknd's hair and their nonexistent, potentially gorgeous children.

4. Wilmer Valderamma and Demi Lovato

The couple, who have caused controversy during their six-year romance due to their large age difference, split in the summer and released a statement saying they were better off as friends. While they were always pretty low-key as a couple, both Demi and the lovable Fez are fan favorites, and I was sad to see their relationship end.

5. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

The infamous couple, who met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith eleven years ago, called it quits after two years of marriage and five kids together, citing irreconcilable differences. This breakup rocked many fans to their core, since Brad and Angie have been such a symbol of true love and family for so long, defying the Hollywood standard of short relationships. RIP Brangelina, we love you.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.

15 Things That Happen On Your Birthday

Do you have a small get-together or throw a big bash?

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.
