Nights are often the cause of everything
Thoughts
Tears
Deaths
Dreams
Whereas days are just the aftermath of what a night can bring
Fixing a night is like
Fixing a life
A gun shot wound at night
Can not be brought back to life by day
A 3 am broken heart
Can not be mended back to health by 3pm
The night, it's dark
Like melanin
People hate the dark
They shed light on parts of the night
That never even needed it
People tear through the night
And take it for granted
Not realizing where'd we be without it
Continuously wasting the night
Waisting the night is like
Waisting a life
You can't ever get it back, no reverb of that matter
No matter how many flash lights
Reappear
To remind of that night
All of the lights speak the same
For guilt & shame
And if you listen to the day
It was always the night's fault
Nights are often the cause of everything
