It is known worldwide that there is an unspoken "girl code". Although in today's generation, it seems that some girls don't understand this code. Breaking this code could end life-time friendships and relationships. These are the ten girl code commandments for a girl and her friends.

1. A girl must never go after a friends ex unless they have explicit permission from their friend.

2. If any girl asks for a hair tie, even if it's your last one, you give it to her.

3. Be honest when your friend asks how they look.

4. Secrets are kept safe with you, no matter what happens to the friendship.

5. Don't forget about your friends when you get into a relationship with someone else.

6. Drives while jamming out to music are acceptable at all hours.

7. Always be there for your friends when they go through tough times.

8.Don't forget about the benefits of a girls night in with your best friends.

9. Always go to the bathroom with your friend, even if you don't really have to go.

10. The most important rule is to never break girl code.

Following these rules will help maintain these meaningful friendships. Make sure to keep your friends feelings and opinions in mind whenever you make a choice that can affect them. Remember that if you break a rule along the way, it's okay to learn from your mistakes.

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
