We have now entered a time in society when the world is crawling with fuckboys. This amount is only going to increase, but why do guys feel the need to adopt this lifestyle is beyond me. Here is why I think it is entirely unnecessary to live the fuckboy lifestyle.

Here is the definition of a fuckboy according to the dictionary.

fuckboy
/ˈfəkˌboi/
noun
1.a weak or contemptible man.
a man who has many casual sexual partners.

That right there says enough for itself, but if you want more explanation on why being a fuckboy is absolutely ridiculous and a waste of time, then here is my take on it.

*cracks knuckles, *does lunges, *cracks neck.

Here we go.

The male gender feels as if it is unmanly to show emotion, but fuckboys take it to a whole new level. Not only do they not show emotion, but they do it to the point of not caring about how their actions affect others.

Fuckboys are constantly hurting others and not caring about how they make other people feel. They go out of their way to do anything that makes them look cool in front of their buddies and will hurt anyone in the process. They will do anything that boosts their ego and not care how they affect others. In fact, the more they tear someone down in the process, the better.

This is absolutely ridiculous. It is not okay to tear other people down, especially women, just to make yourself look good in front of your buddies, or boost your ego. Put on your big boy pants, put your ego aside and take the high road. Do what is right, because treating people with a lack of respect is so middle school.

You aren't fooling anyone. You have a heart beating inside your chest, so you obviously have emotions and opinions. It is inevitable to not get your feelings hurt, so stop hiding it and act and react like a normal human being like the rest of us. By hiding your feelings you are only hurting yourself. You are hurting your mental health, and the further you keep up the act, the more your mental health is going to suffer. You are going to regret that in no time.

I know you and your buddies think that it is cool to have a high number of sexual partners—but news flash—you guys are the only ones. It is A. Absolutely disgusting. B. You probably have an STD C. It makes us feel worthless because to you we are just a number, not a human being, who you actually care about.

That makes us feel absolutely worthless.

You treat us more of an object than a human being, let alone even a woman. We deserve love and respect and to be treated like the women we are. Think of it this way, how would you feel if your son acted like you? How would you like it if your son treated people, women the way that you do? Or how would you feel if your daughter dated someone like you?

Mic drop.

Enough said.

Think about it. It's ridiculous. So quit the act and be a real man, because that's what we want. You will make real, genuine connections if you become a true gentleman. The world doesn't need any more fuckboys.

We need men.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
