Why Universal Studios Is The Top Theme Park

No hate to the big Mouse but I have to be truthful here.

Why Universal Studios Is The Top Theme Park

Listen, I love Disney as much as the next person but Universal is the superior theme park. Not only due to the fact that it is more adult-friendly, but the attractions are so much better. I have been to Disney, Disney Springs, the Disney Store at the mall and none of it compares to the amazing-ness that is Universal Studios.

The theme park takes care to include everyone, instead of for mostly small children and families. Every time I go to Disney, I can feel the stares and the judgments that a young adult is in a place for kids. With Universal, I can run around and have the best day ever and know that so many people are doing the same as me. I can geek out over Harry Potter and Marvel and people won't look at me weird.

Also, did I mention Harry Potter? Oh and Jurrasic Park? But what about the Simpson's? Or Minions? Okay, I know I got you with Shrek, right? There are so many options of where to go and what to see. You could spend hours upon hours just exploring the Universal Studios park alone, and you'd still have Island of Adventure to explore next. The parks are amazingly detailed and if you haven't been yet, trust me when I say that you will want to look at everything there is.

Each part of both parks include some amazing rides, characters, and food to check out. You couldn't possibly be bored at Universal Studios.

I haven't even mentioned City Walk, which is argued to be the best part of the parks. Here you can find some delicious food and even better drinks! It can be on the expensive side, but hey, you only live once right? There's also a big theater, so if you want a break and watch the newest movie, you can absolutely do that.

I love Universal because I don't have to limit myself or wait in ridiculously long lines. Yes, Universal can be crowded, but definitely not as much as other parks. Universal is also inexpensive when buying tickets compared to Disney. For the price of a one day, three-park pass at Disney, I can buy an Annual Pass at Universal and enjoy myself better.

I don't mean for this to be a sponsored or a love letter to the park, but I have a lot of feelings on how people view Universal. It is the best park, so just admit it to yourself and let's go!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
