United we stand, divided we fall.

How do we know what’s right or wrong? How can we fight the injustice of the world? There’s only one way the world will change for the better.

After Brexit, continually we see the rise of leaders who are like Donald Trump, people who want to take their country back.

This is because ultimately and logically speaking there only exists understanding. The lack of understanding is ignorance. But ignorance and understanding are in a way the same side to the same coin. To further understand something is to become ignorant of not understanding it. Yet, it is not the same in that to be ignorant is to understand.

It is neither to understand, nor be ignorant, that is how realization is born. To be aware of that which is, and how it is. Humans don’t want to live by the hatred of one another, we all want to be loved and happy. Yet society deludes us because the roots of greed go very deep.

Has the time come for us to remember our roots, but rise above them? Remember where we’ve come from, but not to let that get in the way of where we are going? How can we do this? When people get together to change the world, when people come together by the millions, anything is possible.

We decide what kind of world we want to live in, and the impossibility of a peaceful world is drilled into society. A peaceful world though is only impossible because we think it is. There are far better ways to solve problems than by killing.

It is depressing actually, that we still haven’t learned this. We’ve been here so long, have so much history recorded and it’s all right in front of us, yet we remain blind to it. If you ask what this thing is, then that is indicative that you don’t understand. It means you perceive this thing as a constant entity that can be understood and upon reaching that understanding you now understand it. This is not the case.

This thing is understanding itself, it is a process. It itself cannot be understood because it is itself. The way in which most people understands does not allow them to see this, they narrow their minds and cannot see beyond their own created barriers. Only the nature of understanding, how it acts can begin to be understood which gives us insight to understanding itself.

It is a constant struggle, to work with that which is occurring in the world around us, especially since in today’s world so much happens that prevents us from having these thoughts. So many people die for a week so that they can live for a weekend. But even farther, there are children, brothers, sisters, fathers, and mothers that are dying out there.

Families everywhere are being shattered by war, and until people begin to reach this realization that I have spoken of, the senseless killing will remain. It may not be easy, it actually in theory is the most difficult thing that can ever be done. But at what point, will we say “Enough is enough?” At what point will we come together with the roots planted in us of those who have come to pass through the greed of cruel men? The time has passed for us to take our fate into our own hands, but will we choose to take our world back from those that insist on dividing it apart? United we stand, divided we fall.

He saw it as much as everyone: "When people stand together, and are prepared to fight back, there is nothing that can't be accomplished."

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.
