While the rest of the nation was busy gearing up for the weekend last night, white nationalists took to the streets in Charlottesville, Virginia.
While the initial reason for the march seems to have been a protest over the proposed removal of a statue of Gen. Robert E. Lee in Emancipation Park, it seems to have gone far beyond "Confederate Pride" to include Nazi memorabilia.

Reports and video evidence of violent crimes being committed during the march have been popping up all over social media.
The Nazis in #Charlottesville were literally beating people w/ torches, yet no police in riot gear. Hmm, wonder why

Donald Trump has even publicly decried the rally.
We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for. There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Lets come together as one!

Homophobic chants can be heard coming from the protesters.
And as of 2:10pm, Real Delaware News and several other news organizations are reporting that people protesting against the white nationalists are being struck by vehicles.
People literally beating other people with their confederate flags
Even more violence
Folks said counter protesters were hit by a vehicle as they turned the corner. Medics are here. #Charlottesville pic.twitter.com/qQAIRy7YSN
