Underrated Makeup Brands that are Effective and of Excellent Quality Part 4
Sedona Lace

This week's article is based on another makeup brand that is slightly mentioned in the beauty community. This brand is Sedona Lace. So, I am recommending this brand for those of you who are looking to save money when buying beauty products.

Sedona Lace

Sedona Lace is a cosmetics brand that specializes mostly in making makeup brushes. It is an American online store which has its main store in Riverview, Florida. Sedona Lace is a professional makeup brand that does not test on animals and it is a hundred percent cruelty-free. Their brushes are made of the same type of materials used for making designer and name brand brushes, but retail for a fraction of the price. Most Sedona Lace brushes incorporate Vortex for the making of their bristles which is handmade synthetic material that can last for many years and it is non-toxic. The brushes are very comparable to those of Sigma beauty ones which is very popularly known in the makeup industry for its quality. Nevertheless, Sedona Lace offers them for half the price of Sigma. The brushes are sold individually and also in sets. They also deliver internationally and give free shipping on national orders within the U.S. after a fifty-dollar purchase. Sedona Lace frequently has half-off sales as well as free-shipping sales with no minimum purchase requirement.

Sedona Lace offers a variety of makeup products for an affordable price such as eyeshadow palettes, blush palettes, gel liners, concealers and face powders. Not too long ago, Sedona Lace collaborated with YouTube makeup guru PrettyLilMzGrace featuring her favorite eyeshadow colors and free blending brush for Sedona Lace. This palette is extremely pigmented, has beautiful packaging and it is travel-friendly and contains very bold bright eyeshadows. Also, recently Sedona Lace came out with a pastel-y eyeshadow palette called Mermaids that features pastel colors inspired by 'famously known mermaids' such as Madison, Ariel, and Aquamarine. They sell the classical 88-warm palette, 120-eyeshadow palette, as well as other similar choices.

I love Sedona Lace gel liners too. The gel liners are potted and come in different colors which are very fun. These gel liners last all day can be used as an eyeshadow base, apply smoothly and can help create any style of eyeliner pattern. Plus, they are hypoallergenic. Like I said this can be applied to the eyelid and can be worn as a single eyeshadow color. My favorite shade is Banana Cream.

Sedona Lace has a wide variety of concealers and color correctors that come individual pots and palettes. I like SL concealer quads that come with four colors for color correcting and hiding blemishes. SL concealer palettes can be used also for contouring and highlight. I also like the idea that SL carries color correctors in a single 5-gram pot for just $2.95.

Last but not least, blushes and foundations. I love the 28-blush palette from SL. It only retails for $7.98. It has many beautiful shades of pink and red and it is very beginner friendly as one can test many different colors, and test them on their skin to find the perfect match. These blushes can be worn as eyeshadows as well. They are very pigmented, buildable and easy to blend. Foundations from Sedona Lace only come in mineral form. There are four tones available and each tone can be worn by women of many different skin tones. Mineral foundation is better for the skin as it does not break out, a little is needed to set an overall makeup look and it does not clog pores. It can also be built to one's liking depending on how much coverage is wanted from the wearer. Sedona Lace mineral foundations can be bought as samples and also in full-size.

In conclusion, Sedona Lace brand is excellent makeup brand because it offers high-quality brushes made from delicately made materials for a lower price. Sedona Lace mostly specializes on brushes, but its makeup line is slightly underrated when it offers hypoallergenic makeup, that does not sacrifice quality over pricing. So, if in the future you are looking to buy brushes that can last you a lifetime check out Sedona Lace and you will not be disappointed.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
