Some anime series just don't get the recognition that they deserve. With great story lines, cinematics, outstanding voice acting and lovable characters, here are just a few anime series that deserve more love and recognition than they get.

1. "Basilisk"

"Basilisk" for sure deserves to get more recognition than it gets. What makes this one great is the political drama, forbidden romances and the suspense it gives to the viewer. I would definitely recommend this if you haven't seen it already.

2. "Hell Girl"

This one is one of my personal favorites. The story follows a girl named Ai who runs something called "The Hell Correspondence" which helps people get revenge by sending their enemies to hell. One thing I love most about "Hell Girl" is that every episode has a different storyline and follows a different character. If you love stories of revenge and suspense, this one is for you.

3. "Death Parade"

This is an intense one. In this anime, your life is on the line and there isn't a heaven or hell after someones dies. Instead, the attendant is sent to a bar run by arbiters where they play games that determine whether they get reincarnated or if their soul vanishes forever. If you're a fan of thrillers, this one is for you.

4. "Your Lie In April"

Following the death of his cold-hearted and abusive mother, piano prodigy Kosei Arima quits playing the piano and lives a boring life in a dull and colorless world. Then he meets Kaori, who is a talented and young violin player. This series portrays loss, love and the impact of music.

5. "Golden Time"

The story follows Benri, a young man who loses his memory after falling from a bridge the night of his high school graduation. After the accident, he attends law school where he is reunited with childhood friend, Kaga. As the series progresses, he starts to regain his memory and even builds a romantic relationship with Kaga. This one is for you if you're into romantic comedies.

6. "March Comes In Like A Lion"

Serving both comedy and drama, "March Comes In Like A Lion" follows the story of Rei, who seems to lead a lonely life when the series first begins. After becoming acquainted with Akari and her two younger sisters, we notice growth in Rei's character as the series progresses. A heartwarming story, for sure.

7. "Clannad: After Story"

Filled with laughs and heartbreak, "Clannad: After Story" is definitely one for the books. Following as a sequel to the 2004 visual novel, "Clannad," this story centers around Tomoya, a high school student who is dissatisfied with his life until he meets Nagisa, who would later become his girlfriend. This one is definitely worth a watch.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
