As part of the Midwest, we are often over looked by much of the country for all that we are. While we get recognized for our plentiful amounts of freshwater, this place means so much more than that. Growing up in this beautiful state and getting the chance to travel around much of it has given me the chance to further appreciate the beautiful cities and towns that make us who we are. Here are just a few of what are my favorite gorgeous places to visit or maybe vacation right here in the mitten.

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way.
