After spending more than half of the year counting down the months, days and weeks until we're rewarded with a long awaited summer vacation, we quickly find that after a few weeks, we're itching to get back into the swing of our school year routines. In what feels like the blink of an eye, three and a half months have come and gone and suddenly, back to school commercials are in full swing and our local Target stores are packed to the brim with all of the school supplies that are sure to satisfy our inner stationery geek. If you're sick of summer, here are 16 more undeniable signs you're ready to kiss it goodbye and head back to school:

1. You miss being busy.

2. ...and the lack of structure in your life is starting to make you go crazy.

3. Homework is starting to sound appealing.

4. Back to school ads leave you feeling excited.

5. You're bored.

6. ...literally all the time.

7. In fact, the most common text you send lately is "I'm so bored."

8. You've exhausted all of your Netflix options.

9. ...to the point where you've watched all of your suggestions.

10. You miss your friends even though you text them 24/7.

11. You've started finding random things to do around the house.

12. ...even if it means cleaning.

13. You've officially caught up on all of the sleep you missed during the semester.

14. You're sick of working all. the. time.

15. Going out in public on a given day has become a mission to avoid people from high school.

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
