I grew up watching "Princess Diaries" and "Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement," which I am so grateful for. Disney gave my generation a quirky relatable character to look up to. Princess Mia taught us we didn't have to be in the popular crowd and that you can overcome your fear of public speaking. This film includes many important quotes such as the famous line "Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something is more important than fear. The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all." Not only did Princess Mia have the coolest grandma ever, but she taught us that inner beauty mattered.

We've all been there.
7) She knew to choose a guy that truly liked her for herself
She realized who's been there all along.
8) She acknowledged the world doesn't revolve around herself
We all tend to get caught up every now and then.

People make mistakes and giving pizza never hurts.
10) She stood up for herself
She learned you can't let people walk over you.
11) She was willing to break the social norm
You go girl!
I am forever wishing Genovia was a real place so I could visit.
