There are not too many foods that have managed to become a staple in almost every household, at least in the United States of America. Most everyone likes pizza. Whether you're one of the wise and sophisticated individuals who recognizes the beauty of pineapple on pizza or if you're one of the people who just settles for a simple cheese pizza, you have at least one place that tops your list as your favorite pizza place. Supposedly, each American eats about 46 slices of pizza per year, but I'm sure that's not including the college years, because we all know that college students are the true pizza connoisseurs.

1. Blaze Pizza

This is the perfect pizza place for our generation. Custom made food is the future, which explains why places like Chipotle and Sweetgreen have so much success, similarly to this pizza place. The spicy sauce here is unmatchable.

2. Slices Pizza Co.

The only thing I ever get here is the Mac and Cheese pizza, and oh, it's definitely worth it.

3. Pizza Boli's

When this pizza is hot, the cheese is is the perfect level of gooey, and the amount of tomato sauce is just right.

4.Papa John's Pizza

Something about this pizza has a sweet taste, but it works for this pizza. The garlic sauce is jumping. The crust is amazing. 10/10 for the original pizza delivery restaurant chains.

5. Pizza Hut

This place was the go to spot whenever we needed pizza as a kid, whether it was for a party, sleepover, or if mom wasn't feeling up to making dinner. The stuffed crust is worth it, and the $5 dinner box is a blessing.

6. Domino's Pizza

People really enjoy the crust from this pizza, but I can't fully support that sentiment. The pizza is okay, but I wouldn't yell out this place as my first choice.

7. You Pizza

This is a new place, so they may be getting the hang of things right now. I'll give them some more time to adjust. Overall, the pizza is good though.

8. Mod Pizza

This is a second rate Blaze to me. One of the upsides to this place is the varying sizes of pizza that you can get. I was a huge fan when they offered asparagus as a topping. But if I'm left to choose between Blaze and Mod, Blaze wins hands down.

9. Ledo Pizza

This pizza is very sweet. I'm not a fan of the thin crust, and often times I see people dabbing off the grease from the pizza. The pizza is okay, but you won't hear me raving about it. I think the square slice approach is interesting though.

10.Cici's Pizza

My first introduction to the mac and cheese pizza. I used to love this place, solely because it was a buffet where I could mix and match all of my pizza cravings. In retrospect, this pizza ranks itself among places like Chuck-E-Cheese or pizza from your university diner.

11. Pizza Kingdom

The $5 jumbo slice is a staple to every college student's life after a night out. It's a rare sighting to see a crowd there before 11pm and to see anyone ordering anything besides this jumbo slice.

12. Sbarro

I rarely go here to order pizza. That alone should be an indicator.

If you don't like pineapple on your pizza, your opinion is already invalid. No one knows good pizza better than a college student.

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

28 Daily Thoughts of College Students

"I want to thank Google, Wikipedia, and whoever else invented copy and paste. Thank you."

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

As this semester wraps up, students can’t help but be stressed about finals. After all, our GPAs depends on these grades! What student isn’t worrying about their finals right now? It’s “goodbye social life, hello library” time from now until the end of finals week.

1. Finals are weeks away, I’m sure I’ll be ready for them when they come.
