Here is your ultimate survival guide to Morgantown weekends including clubs, bars, grilles, and drunk food. This guide will help make the transition into the school year just a little bit smoother! Get together a group of friends and go check out these awesome places! Remember that Uber in Morgantown is up and running if you are out drinking! Stay safe and happy Welcome Week!

Clubs

1. Whisper

With 2 bars and a club atmosphere downstairs and a lounge upstairs, Whisper offers everything you could want in a club. Whisper is known for their free cover Fridays, $.25-.50 drink specials, and shot specials. In addition, Whisper offers many nights with free cover before 12 as well as bucket specials! It also hosts the best DJs. It is located on 491 High Street and opens at 10. Thursdays at Whisper are always packed! Get there early, it fills up fast! 2. Bent Willeys

Bent Willeys offers multiple club rooms. There are multiple bars and dance rooms. The best part of Bent is that they have a deck. When the weather is nice, it gets packed! Bent also offers drink specials before 12. Bent offers free cover before 11 most nights if you're 21! Bent gets packed on Bent Wednesday, so get there early especially if it's nice outside! 3. Lux

Lux offers an upstairs and downstairs club atmosphere. They also offer mixed drinks, shots, and pitcher specials depending on the day. Lux offers themed nights such as "Drake Night" and other fun themes! While it seems to be suited more toward the younger crowd of college students, Lux is the place to be if you're looking for a fun night of dancing! Bars (21+)

1. Fat Daddy's

With skee ball, pool tables, a dance floor, a full bar, Jenga, shuffleboard, and food, there isn't anything that Fat Daddy's doesn't cover. They offer pitcher specials, as well as shot and mixed drink specials. Whether you're looking to throw back some beers with friends while watching a game or you're looking to dance all night, Fats is the place to be. Oh and don't forget about Happy Hour! 2. Joe Mamas

3. The Back Door

Bar & Grille

1. Playoffs

Playoffs is a new sports bar & grille in the area that's making a big splash! Located on 237 Spruce Street, it's right in the heart of downtown! Not only does Playoffs offer a full bar with nightly drink specials, but they also offer fantastic wings, burgers, and pizzas! This month Playoffs burger of the month is The Notorious P.I.G. With multiple TVs and a sports bar atmosphere, Playoffs is the ultimate place to be on game days as well as UFC fights and there is never a cover! 2. Kegler's

Kegler's is a classic sports bar that offers beer, ribs, wings, and other classic bar food. It is located on 735 Chestnut Ridge Rd. which is a short drive from downtown and is located closer to the Evansdale campus. Kegler's offers multiple TVs for the best watching experience. 3. The Sports Page

The Sports Page offers more of a bar atmosphere, while still serving bar grub. With pool-tables and multiple TVs, The Sports Page is a popular spot for many sports fans. It is located on 325 S High Street. They offer drink specials that you can find on their Twitter @SportsPageWV.

Drunk Food

1. DP Dough

DP Dough offers calzones, wings, and bread-sticks. They are open until 4am which makes them the perfect stop after a long night out! Or if you're feeling lazy they also deliver through OrderUp. DP Dough is located on 408 High Street!

2. Casa D'Amici

Casa is a classic Morgantown drunk food spot. Located on 485 High Street, Casa is right in the heart of downtown. They are open until 3:30am and you can stop in and get pizza instantly! Casa also offers delivery on OrderUp!

3. Jimmy Johns

While Jimmy John's isn't exclusive to Morgantown, it still fits perfectly for Morgantown Students! It is open until 4 a.m. and located on 405 High Street. It is a quick stop for a sub or you can order online on OrderUp!
