We all have our own dreams about the perfect house. From the massive kitchen to the bowling alley in the basement, we all have expensive thoughts in mind. A dream home is a place that has everything you want and more. If money wasn't a concern, this is what the house of my dreams would look like.

Living room with ocean view

I want to have a modern living room. Modern furniture with a fireplace and an open ceiling make the room feel warm. It would be awesome to also have an ocean view like this one, especially if you love to watch sunsets over the water.

Massive garage

Being a car enthusiast, I will have to have a garage to put my cars in. In my dream house I want to have a garage that is functional and modern. Plus it's reassuring to know that your cars are protected as often as possible.

Extraordinary pool

Pool are a great way to relax and take the heat off from the day. I would want to have a big pool with enough room for entertaining. After all, you are going to want to show off how well you have done, right?

Luxury office

It will be important to have a place where you are able to sit down and focus on work that needs completion. Having a luxury office with more than enough space will help make work less painful. A nice office is a must.

Modern kitchen

Having a kitchen that is open and accommodating is great. You will be comfortable cooking and entertaining guests. I like the idea of being able to have an open wall from the kitchen to the outside area, giving the illusion of a bigger space.

Master bedroom with a view

I like the idea of having a clean modern look for the master bedroom. I would want to be able to wake up in the morning and walk outside and feel the breeze from the ocean, another relaxing room.

Master bathroom

Having a spacious bathroom is key. With enough room for each person to get ready this is an awe-inspiring design for a master bathroom.

Luxury dining room

As you can probably tell by this point I like more open design plans. My ideal dining room would be connected to an outside lounge area. I enjoy having easy access to many areas at once.

Bowling alley

A bowling alley would be the perfect area for some time to unwind. I have always wanted to be able to bowl in my own house.

We all have thought of our ideal living spaces at one point or another in our lives. It's important to strive to achieve goals like the ones I have mentioned above, because anything is possible when you put in time and effort. Continue living with big dreams, one day those dreams will become reality.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
