The Christmas season is without a doubt the best time of the year. Hot chocolate, Christmas movies, Christmas cookies, I can't get enough of it! Every year I try and have a mini Bucket list of what I want to accomplish before the Holiday season is over.

I have decided a mini Bucket list is not enough for me. There are many Christmas activities I just cannot complete during one Christmas season. Therefore, I made what I have called the Ultimate Christmas Bucket List.

1. Ice Skate at Rockefeller Center

The ultimate ice skating rink has to lead off the list. With one of the largest Christmas trees in the country overlooking the rink, Rockefeller Center makes this activity the epitome of Christmas.

2. Ice Skate in Central Park

You cannot go to Rockefeller Center and miss out on the next best ice skating rink. The Central Park ice skating rink is a great scene: the green inside the concrete jungle.

3. Eat the "Elf" meal

You read that right. You can never understand "Elf" without stepping into Buddy's shoes. Grab your spaghetti, syrup, chocolate Pop Tarts, and all the candy you can find.

4. Take a picture in front of the Home Alone House.

5a. Attend the CMA Country Christmas

The CMA Country Christmas is a Christmas tradition that all country music lovers will enjoy. If you can find a ticket, go for it.

AND/OR

5b. Attend a Mannheim Steamroller or Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert

Country music is not for all people. If you fall into that category, attend one of these amazing instrumental groups.

6. Make a Gingerbread House village

7. Drive around and look at ALL of the Christmas lights

8. Have your house on the must-see Christmas lights list.

Strive to be the Clark Griswold and Betty LouWho of your neighborhood.

9. Complete 12 Random Acts of Kindness for the 12 Days of Christmas

'Tis the season of giving. Give a little extra and push yourself to give 12 different times in honor of the 12 Days of Christmas.

10a. Experience Christmas in New York

With Rockefeller Center, Central Park, The Empire State Building, and Broadway, Christmas in New York would be an incredible experience.

AND/OR

10b. Experience Christmas at a Disney Park

Disney rolls out the red carpet for the holidays. Combine the magic of Christmas with the magic of Disney and you will have a great Christmas experience.

11. Make Christmas cookies in bulk

Give the best gift you can give this Christmas: COOKIES! Make as much as you can and either keep it to yourself or share with the world!

12. Find the perfect Christmas tree

13. Go to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland is an amusement park in London, England completely centered around Christmas. It has an amusement park, the United Kingdom's largest ice skating rink, a marketplace, and restaurants. It looks like an awesome place for any Christmas lover.

14. Relax

The Christmas season is one of the only times of the year where you can just sit down, breathe, and enjoy yourself. Make the most of it.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
