As I'm sure the explosion of red glitter and hearts has made you aware, Valentine's Day is quickly approaching. Here is how Feb. 14 goes down, according to Jessica Day of "New Girl."
Firstly, you keep an eye out for potential Valentine's of the attractive sort.

Then, you let your potential suitor know that you're a ball of fun.

You then inform them of your interests,

but then you scare them away with your weirdness,

Whatever, they're not worth your time, anyway.

You then face the reality of the situation.

And go into a semi-depressive state.

Followed by a small-scale pity party.

But then you remember that on Valentine's Day, anything goes.

And you profess your love for something else entirely,

But you still go out of your way to glare angrily at couples.

You then invite your other single friends over for an old-school sleepover.

And you start to remember how much fun being single really is,

Who needs Valentine's Day, anyway?

And remember, with or without a Valentine, you are still a hot tamale!
