UK's Celebrity Fans: A Thank You Letter.

Somewhere along the way of them sporting UK apparel, acting as the "Y" in the traditional spelling of KENTUCKY at the end of a game in Rupp Arena, some of us forget to appreciate their contribution to the BBN fandom.

Drake: We can't lie, we all really enjoyed watching you participate in March Madness in your own little warm up suit. Although you aren't actually a player for the best school in the country, we still appreciate your loyalty to the BBN.

Laura Bell Bundy: From Broadway to the Bluegrass, your love for the BBN is always being voiced. Your UK references in your song "Kentucky Dirty," did not go unnoticed. You have stayed true to your home state and always support the big blue.

Josh Hutcherson: We definitely volunteer as tribute to help JLaw with her obvious mental break down causing her to be a Louisville fan. Besides from being absolutely adorable, you make it known you are a true Kentucky fan.

Ashley Judd: Despite all of the recent drama on Twitter, you still stand tall and support the cats more than ever. Your passion for UK basketball is constantly being expressed, no matter what the haters say. Your essay about Kentucky showed your passion for not only UK basketball, but for the State as well. (obviously excluding Louisville),

Lebron James: When you aren't on the court yourself, it's been known for you to play pick up with the team. As a pro yourself, it is good to know you root for the BBN.

Jay Z- Your visits to UK caused a controversy in the business, but it did not stop you from cheering on the U of K! I am pretty sure some of us would have payed to see Coach Cal jamming out at your concert. BTW, if you ever visit again, make sure to bring Queen B with you.

To the super fans listed above and the many other super fans not mentioned, thanks for being a part of the BBN and always supporting the best school in the nation! GO CATS!

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
