Russia is being criticized all over the world for attacking Ukraine. Demonstrations are taking place everywhere. It is being said that Russian President Vladimir Putin pushed the world into war for his ego. It is also reported that Russian President Putin wants to annex Ukraine under any circumstances. For this he is ready to pay any price.

In such a situation, good news has come from Russia that the citizens there are opposing the war. It may be that the opposition of its own citizens will put pressure on the Russian government and this war will be put to an end. This work should be done in Russia as well as in the whole world. The people should oppose the war. So that no major untoward happens and peace can be established again.

The people of Russia are condemning their government

People's protests against the war have intensified in Russia in protest against the attack on Ukraine. In Russia's capital Moscow, St Petersburg and other cities, people took to the streets on Saturday and raised slogans. The police detained 460 people. It includes more than 200 people from Moscow.

Open letters were also issued in Russia condemning the attack on Ukraine. It is signed by over 6,000 medical staff, over 3400 engineers and 500 teachers. Apart from this, journalists, local body members and celebrities have also signed similar petitions. An online petition was launched on Thursday to stop the attack on Ukraine. More than 780,000 people have signed it till Saturday evening. It is believed to be one of the most supported online petitions in Russia in the past few years.

Many countries in support of Ukraine

Apart from Russia, people in many countries including Japan, Hungary, France, Australia are strongly condemning the attack on Ukraine. People are taking to the streets with posters with slogans 'No war needed' and are demanding President Vladimir Putin to stop this war. Russian police have detained more than 1,700 people protesting against the war in dozens of cities.

There is also information that the members of the Communist Party of Russia are against the war. Two Communist Party lawmakers have also condemned the attack on Ukraine. He is the same lawmaker who voted a few days ago to recognize the independence of two separatist regions in eastern Ukraine. MP Oleg Smolin said he was surprised when the attack began, because military force should be used in politics as a last resort. The second MP, Mikhail Matveev, said that the war should be stopped immediately.

On the other hand, the news coming from Ukraine is not good. Apart from the military establishment, the Russian Army is also attacking civilians. Russian soldiers who have entered the cities are looting. Russian soldiers rob a bank after capturing the city of Kharkiv. ATMs are being robbed. Soldiers were also seen entering a departmental store and picking up goods.

Several Ukrainian civilians killed in Russian attack

Ukraine claims that so far 198 people have died in the Russian attack. It also includes 33 children. Apart from this, 1,115 people have been injured. The condition of Ukraine is getting worse day by day. Food and drink have become scarce. After the Russian attack, devastation is seen everywhere in big cities like Kyiv, Kharkiv, Melitopol. Buildings have been ruined by missile attacks. People are craving for food and drink. In many places, from children to elders can also be seen crying due to fear and panic. Lakhs of people are leaving their city, country and going out. Everyone cares about himself and his family. He wants to reach a safe place as soon as possible. A UN official said that so far more than 1.50 lakh Ukrainian refugees have reached Poland, Moldova and Romania.

What is happening in Russia in protest against this war should happen all over the world. When agencies and organizations made for peacekeeping fail, people should rise for it. For some time now, it seems that the United Nations Organization formed to maintain peace in the world has lost its importance. It has lost its importance in front of the arrogance of the five countries with veto power. In such a situation, the whole world will have to think of forming a new organization to establish peace. For this the voice has to be raised. Will have to move. Public opinion has to be made. But while doing this, it is important to note that we have to reach our voice up to the top peacefully.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
