When Moments Of Our Lives Match The Caveman Spongebob Meme

Ugh Me SpongeGar... You Patar

So we've all grown up watching Spongebob Squarepants. We all enjoyed the prehistoric episode of Spongebob and Patrick. In the episode we laughed and laughed at SpongeGar, Patar and Squog (Spongebob, Patrick and Squidward) discovering what fire was. When they kept sticking their hands in the fire and burning themselves to when they were BBQ-ing everything around them. It is one episode we will remember for a lifetime. Then someone brought back our childhood and turned SpongeGar into a meme that is everyone in us.

1.

When you stay up late during breaks playing video games, binge watching Netflix, or scrolling through some memes. After hours of it you decide it's finally to get to bed because you have to get up early and then this meme becomes you.

2.

When you're in class and you think you are sneaky by keeping your head down to avoid being called on to read. You were doing some homework for another class that is due or you are flat out not focused in class then suddenly it is dead silent.... all eyes are on you and you turn into this meme.

3.

When you and your friend decide to go to the mall and you are parking and laughing, not completely focused on where you parked and you go on a bestie shopping spree. It's time to leave because you ran out of money and you realize you have no idea where your car is. You may look like this.

4.

Ahh childhood games of hide and seek (or adult games of hide and seek). You are a hider finally and you are searching around looking to find the best hiding spot possible because you totally trashed talked saying you were the best hider. Then you hear "2..1...ready or not here I come!" You are not ready and you stand there like this questioning your last second spots you can reach.

5.

For our recent 2016 graduates. This was us now or at some point in our learning career. Standing there cap and gown and you look back at your school. You're excited you don't have to return but you realize you don't have a set schedule anymore to abide by leaving you relating to Spongebob.

6.

When you go to a big event, a concert, or a theme park, you are all excited to get to the event. You park at any spot you find. You hurry up without looking back to get there as soon as possible. As soon as its time to go home you realize.... "Where is my car?" You may find yourself looking like SpongeGar.

7.

Oh the moment you get to work in a group finally! You get so excited that you are going to work with your bestie and you realize they didn't come to school today. Everyone is already grabbing up their friends and you are stuck here in this same stance.

8.

You put on the scary movie, you snuggle into your blankets and popcorn. The movie is getting to the really scary part and you hear something fall in the other room or you hear the floor creak. You look around for your pet and they are in the room with you. Your primal SpongeGar kicks in.

9.

Parent tells you to fend for yourself for dinner tonight. You had been craving some KFC. You drive on over to the drive through place your order and as you begin to move up in the line you fumble looking for your wallet. Searching while your food is being made and you are next to pay.... Your wallet is gone.... and you are stuck.

10.

You get dragged into grocery shopping with parent. It's finally time to check out. One more person in front of you then you are next to leave. Parent calls out "OH! I forgot to grab milk." They run off into the isles and the cashier looks at you to start loading up groceries on the counter and pay. Parent is nowhere to be seen.....

11.

Most of us have been here at one point. The ride attendant skips over you by accident. You realize your seat never locked in and you are already halfway up the hill. You quickly start pulling and tugging the harness to start yourself in somehow. Soon you find yourself at the top of the hill looking like this.

12.

Oh we all know this feeling. Whether it is in the ocean or a lake. Sea creatures everywhere and not the friendly ones living under a pineapple or a rock. It brushes against your leg and you cringe just before you begin to run across the water before being "eaten".

13.

From a teacher's POV. Every student pulls out their primitive SpongeGar because nobody is ready for a quiz. Even a planned one.

14.

You are sitting on the couch, binging on some Orange is the New Black or COD. You saw the note saying do your chores before I come home. You blow it off. "I'll do them after this episode/match" Hours later, you hear the car pull up....

15.

This one is for the college students. You are new in class, haven't scoped out a potential friend around you yet or haven't seen a familiar face. Professor says "Find a partner." This becomes life or death. Could they be your partner for the rest of the semester? Could they drag you down for this assignment?

16.

Yet again you are binging on Netflix or video games. Parent told you "a hurricane" came through your room and you need to clean it. You blow it off to do later. You hear the storming footsteps coming for you and you realize you never found your floor....

17.

You are mid change and suddenly someone is standing outside of your dressing room. The handle jiggles and you are mid SpongeGar stance unsure if you say something, stand there, get dressed or block the door.

Every one of us has had one or more of these SpongeGar moments. Some of us have lived our lives by Spongebob. Spongebob will forever live in within us no matter the age.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
