Typical College Semester As Told By Boy Meets World

During the golden age of Disney Channel we were blessed to indulge ourselves in one of the greatest programs. Boy Meets World not only gave us something to laugh about but, it also taught us a number of life lessons. Even today as a college student I find myself looking back on episodes and seeing connections I didn't before. One thing is for sure, there are still a number of ways in which we can relate to Boy Meets World in our everyday college lives.

1. Finally meeting your roommate in person and finding out you guys were meant to be friends.

2. And once you guys move in together they start seeing your secret stash of food you brought with you.

3. There's always that time that you're registered for a class and under professor's name it says "TBA."

4. As soon as classes begin, you see the syllabus and realize this class is not going to be as easy as you first thought it was going to be.

5. And then there are those 8 a.m. classes we always regret signing up for cause we sit in class like.

6. As the professor continues to talk you sit there like you know exactly what they're talking about.

7. But deep down inside you're really like...

8. But finally you get out of class and of course the first thing you do is change into something comfortable.

9. Finally it's the weekend and it's time to go out. But, all of your friends cancelled plans with you and all you say to yourself is.

10. Thankfully, you have your roommate to go out and be a fool with.

11. When you're underage you will try anything to get into the main bar. This includes flirting with the bouncer.

12. Somehow during the course of the night you turn around and see that you lost your roommate and they're making out with someone in their class that they had found attractive.

12. And you know that in their head they're just thinking.

13. Even though you know that during class hours they would be more like...

14. Now that your roommate is taken, you have the creepy guys in the bar trying to hit on you like...

15. And even when you tell them no, they can't seem to get the hint.

16. You know the night will always end with you stuffing your face (especially if there is a pizzeria around).

17. The next morning you check yik-yak just to make sure your black out night didn't cause you to publicly embarrass yourself.

18. Even your friends try to tell you how bad you were the night before and the only defense you have is.

19. Now it's back to class and suddenly the professor is asking for an assignment you completely forgot you had.

20. No worries though, he let you hand it in a little late and although it's not you're greatest you still turn it in like...

21. This cycle just keeps continuing until finally it's the end of the semester.

22. But, you think you got a handle of everything you did this past semester.

23. So, you try to go to the library but everything sounds more interesting than your textbook. Let's be honest, that's where you can get filled in on all of the gossip.

24. Now you figure that maybe your room will be better to study, but instead Netflix catches your eye.

25. Your only best option is to run to the professor demanding him to.

26. Finally, the semester has come to a close and you can go on a road trip back home with the friends you met.

But, one of the most relatable messages in Boy Meets World is this one right here.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
