The 4th of July is one of summer's most exciting and festive holidays. The beautiful weather allows for an endless variety of outdoor activities, ranging from typical BBQ outings to a spectacular fireworks display in your neighborhood's state parks. Friends and family come together dressed head to toe in red, white, and blue— gripping a beer can dressed in a patriotic "koozie" of its own.

For a day that is no stranger to questionable decisions, unforgettable memories, and an influx of emotions, here's a thorough look into a typical day of celebrating a nation's freedom as told by the hilarious and rambunctious cast of "That '70s Show:"

1. You're ready to kick off the day as you gaze in awe at your 4th of July attire.

You have to admit, part of the fun of this holiday is being able to dress up as a representation of this great nation. You won't find anyone dressed in green, orange, or yellow when it comes time to attending a 4th of July outing. In fact, most people take pity on you if you deny the ability to have fun and be patriotic this one time a year.

2. BBQ's, house parties, and fireworks just to name a few!

With the copious amounts of activities this holiday provides us with, it should not be tolerant by any means necessary for any individual to remain at home with nothing to do. Go outside and enjoy all that freedom has to offer!

3. The 4th of July never disappoints our appetites.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, pies, ice cream, fruit piled high with patriotic colors, this holiday can honestly be compatible with a Thanksgiving feast!

4. Have you ever held a sparkler!?

Sparklers have been a 4th of July tradition for decades. The adrenaline rush that comes from holding one, watching it burn and sparkle, and waving it through the air to make temporary drawings is a pretty cool experience.

5. The firework performances.

Well no matter where you live across the nation, even some of the smallest rural towns will have a fireworks display! There's nothing better than momentarily losing your hearing after watching loud explosives shoot off into the sky, while being completely surrounded by people who share in your same excitement.

6. What some people fail to realize is that the party is just getting started even after the fireworks are over.

Though most people don't have off from work the day after the 4th of July, us young adults (and those few cool adults out there, don't think I forgot about you) will decide to put that thought behind us for the moment being. Now's the time to let loose!

7. There's a lot of this...

and this...

and even this as the partying ensues into the night...

But hey, what else are you expecting right?

8. That allegiance we feel towards patriotic music.

On this day in particular, whenever we hear songs like Lee Greenwood's, "God Bless the USA," we feel more than compelled to stand arms around shoulders with the people by our sides, and stand united as we belt out this classic hit.

9. As the end of the night begins to fall upon us...

... I don't think I could have found anything better to explain it.

10. But there's one thing we hope everyone knows as they head home on the 4th of July...

That there's no better country than the USA, and the way we celebrate our nation's freedom is a perfect example of that.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
