12 Types of People During Christmas

Now that Thanksgiving is over, it is finally completely acceptable to get in the Christmas mood. During this time of year, many types of people emerge. Here are twelve:

1. The guy who hates on everything because it isn't inclusive of all of the holidays. Yeah, but what if I don't celebrate Christmas, " they reply when they see anything that says "Merry Christmas" in public.

2. The one who milks that time of year for all of the deals they can get. These are the ones who know exactly where to shop and when to shop during this deal filled time.

3. The person who plays holiday music wherever they go. Every time they walk in the room without any music, they proceed to complain about it until somebody finally plays "Let it snow."

4. The one who goes overboard, WAY overboard. You can tell exactly who this is because when you pass by their house at night, you might forget that it's night due to all the lights. You can also tell when there is one near you because all you smell is peppermint, gingerbread, and cinnamon.

5. The old person that complains about Christmas being overgeneralized. Yes, this is the one who complains that the Starbucks cups now cater to all religions.

6. The Grinch. Of course this one was going to be on the list. This is the guy who just does not see the joy in this time of year. I don't know what's wrong with him either.

7. The person who gets really lazy. Everybody gets a little lazy around the holiday season when it comes to work, but this is the really lazy guy.

8. The one who won't stop making holiday movie references. I think this guy has every Christmas movie memorized.

9. The one who cannot stop singing carols. This one is almost worse than number 8, they probably are the worst singers you will ever meet. They will also ruin most Christmas songs for you.

10. The perfectionist. This is the one who judges the fairy lights outside your house because there is one light out.

11. The professional chef. My personal favorite, usually a very motherly type person who bakes cookies and makes all kinds of gourmet dishes.

12. The one who procrastinates their present shopping. You'll catch this guy shopping for presents on Christmas day.

We all have a little bit of all of these people in us, but who do you identify with most?

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
