Basically, if you prefer the latter, you're wrong. Our two favorite Salvatore brothers never fail to make us swoon every week on the hit TV series The Vampire Diaries. The love that we share with this dynamic duo is steadily approaching unhealthy levels but we're too starstruck to care. While, yes, we all love the ripper-turned-good-guy Stefan, with his big heart and courageous amends, we all have a special secret place in our hearts for the sexy, smoldering, complete knock-out stud muffin with the actual heart of gold that is Damon Salvatore. Damon isn't afraid to be himself. He is completely comfortable with who he is and he makes anyone around him feel the same way about themselves.

Someone call a doctor because I think I'm having a heart attack. Just LOOK AT THAT SMIRK. How could you not fall in love with him after that? Wow, just wow.
