Two new reasons have arisen to love Chance the Rapper, as if we all don't love him enough already. And no, it wasn't that incredible moment when Beyoncé crashed his backstage interview at the VMA's, and he fan-girled just as heavily as any of us would have.
But he's making our love even stronger....
First of all, he bought almost 2,000 scalper tickets to his own "Magnificent Coloring Day" music festival in Chicago to re-sell to fans. When the tickets first sold out, and scalpers began to set the prices unreasonably high, Chance, being the incredible that he is, took the tickets back from scalpers and made them available for much more reasonable prices on his website.
Not only that, though. He is using his concerts to register fans to vote in this year's election. The 23-year-old artist announced his affiliation with the NAACP's "#staywokeandvote" campaign on Twitter Wednesday.
Why Chance? Well, NAACP's president and CEO stated, "Chance the Rapper is an artist whose music praises and lifts up our common humanity, and whose call for action speaks to the yearning of this moment. This year, more than it has in a generation, we must use the power of our voices and our votes and exercise our sacred right to vote."
I wanna say there is no chance I could be a bigger fan, but I know he will just come right back with his next swoon-worthy move.
