This election cycle is unlike any seen before, so even if this isn't your first election you've lived through, you probably need some extra explaining due to the absurd nature of it all. With reality TV-like twists on news stories, some of the media's best journalists can help guide you through it all, with humor when you need it. Whether you're left, right, undecided or don't care, the following personalities and journalists will help you to care and find your way to a decision before you vote next month.

Chuck Todd (@Chucktodd)

The moderator of NBC's 'Meet The Press' has great insights to the election. He retweets some of NBC's best coverage of the election, as well as other non-political news stories. He tries to remain unbiased and shows how hard covering this election can be, with a good sense of humor and perspective.

Brian Stelter (@brianstelter)

The host of CNN's 'Reliable Source's' knows how to utilize Twitter and seems to tweet more than he sleeps. He is more relatable for younger twitter users and retweets some of the best journalists in the field. He also has a Re newsletter that recaps the best news you may not know about from a journalist's perspective.

Jay Rosen (@jayrosen_nyu)

A journalism professor at New York Univeristy, his twitter bio reads, "critique the press," which is exactly what he does. He looks into how the press gives bias too often during this election cycle and how absurd some of the stories are. After the first debate, he has fiercely been showing how "phony" the online polls news sites have been doing are, while they act like they are actual poll numbers.

Nate Silver (@NateSilver538)

Polticial polls are confusing and weird. Some many organizations put out different polls that it can be hard to dicipher the staticitcal information constantly in front of you. Let Nate Silver, editor at FiveThirtyEight guide you through the confusing world of election polls and survery's. You'll be better informed and might actually know what people are talking about after.

Politico (@politico)

This poltical news magazine and website tries to give both sides their equal say. They are also wholly committed to reporting all angles of this election cycle. If you're only going to follow one of these accounts, this is who you should follow. They will make you better informed to make a better decision come November.

Chrissy Teigen (@chrissytiegen)

How can you not love her? The model has been one of the most hilarious celebrity tweeter's since she live-tweeted her journey down the Oscar's red carpet. She says what you're thinking nine times of out ten. Her brutal honesty and sometimes drunken thoughts will give you life during the next debates. She also really wants Clinton to sink to Trumps level.

Andy Cohen (@Andy)

The man behind the 'Real Housewives' treats the debates like the live recap shows. Which makes a lot of sense when you think about it, since its only a matter of time until Trump's toupe gets pulled off and someone knocks the podium down in anger. His comic relifef is needed when your realize how nervous you are for the country's future.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead.
