A Smile Beautifully Crafted

When you touch the wings of a butterfly, you rub away its perfect design.

The thing that makes it beautiful, the part that makes it fly.

No man can put it back together and make it whole again,

Although it can be cared for, its beauty isn't regained.

So the beautiful butterfly reminds me of my precious friend,

Lexi Carson, bold and beautiful till the end.

Unlike the butterfly her beauty can never fade,

she's as delicate and free, regardless of what others may say.

A mind of her own, passionate and true

Outspoken, direct, and very loyal too

Like the butterfly, she's fragile and unique

You can see so much detail in the spreading on her wings..

God used her hard times to perfect his artistry.

Her tears to make her shine, her sweet rhythm from her misery.

Her past wasn't the best, but her future shines bright

She took some wrong turns, but they don't outweigh the right..

Woman of God!! The Lord will ALWAYS be with you EVERY step of the way.

He promises in His word so never be afraid.

Life isn't easy, but its what makes you tough

My indestructible queen, fear is just a bluff

You remind my of a butterfly, because you should be regarded with care

But unlike a butterfly, your wings can never tear

Happy birthday Lexis Carson.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."
