At Florida State, there is a lot going on throughout campus and the digital distraction is real! Meeting up with your friends and cherishing every moment of college life is crucial because -let's be real- these four years fly by! There are times when meeting up with friends and making plans is a constant challenge. In this day and age, we are constantly on our phones, and living in the moment can become hard. The problem of knowing where to go for lunch, which bar to go to, and when to hang with your friends is finally easier.

I've been using a new app, Twenty, that has helped solve this problem and it's making a true impact on the FSU community. Twenty is a location-based app that connects people in real life. The app allows you to see where your friends are and create a plan to meet up in an efficient and effective way. Once you're on Twenty with your friends, you can invite them to hangouts and see who's down to meet up.

What I love about Twenty is that it's all about what's happening now or in the future so you can really focus on hanging out with friends. You'll never end up mindlessly scrolling because you and your friends can't share what has happened in the past. Twenty has made it easier than ever to be able to find and plan the next move with everyone that I want to be around.

 What's your Twenty?

Twenty has also helped students connect with their friends at other universities such as the University of Florida, University of Michigan, and friends in the University of South Florida. From philanthropies to concerts, there's always something to discover!

Do you constantly lose your friends on College Ave? Are you going on a trip with your friends and can't seem to map it? If I lose my friends during Happy Hour or a big Thursday night at Derd, I no longer have to hunt down a bunch of different group texts to figure out what everyone wants to do. Twenty is also great for traveling and planning group trips. I can just make a big hangout in the app and see who would be down to take a spontaneous trip on the weekends.

It all starts with adding your friends! I've been meeting up with my friends at school and communicating with my other friends from home easier than ever. I can't wait to use this app all summer!

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.

The dynamics of any friend group are usually determined by the personalities which make it up. Chances are, while personalities may overlap, each person in your friend group holds his or her own place. It is the differences which bring the groups together and keep them functioning. No matter how functionally dysfunctional your friend group may be, if you're anything like me, you feel absolutely blessed to have found such a wonderful group of humans to call "your people." Here is what your friend group might look like if they were Disney princesses (and that wasn't just a thing you all pretended in your heads):
